I put two postcards in the mailbox today for a mythical creature-themed postcard swap, and NOW I'm realizing how messy and poorly written they were, and I regret not putting a little more time into it... Anyway, to the two recipients of my postcards, I ask that you go easy on me, as this is my first postcard swap!

Howdy, I'm Cassette (pseudonym -- I'll give my real name at a later time)! I'm a 40-year-old former Seattleite living in a small town in the Midwest (USA) with my husband and our cat. My job is boring.

My hobbies include listening to music, writing in my 5-year journal, reading, commonplacing, writing to my pen pals, playing video games (mostly retro games), playing Scrabble and Rummikub, thrift shopping, collecting Licca-chan and other dolls, playing the guitar, and coding my dumb website.

I want to learn to crochet, the Japanese language, the Hebrew language, and how to play Mahjong.

I'm shy and very socially awkward. I don't have many friends besides my husband. Hopefully, I can make a new friend or three on this site! :o)
